The information below covers everything you need to know for presenting a poster at the State of the Arctic Conference.

Preparing your Poster

The poster boards will be 4 feet high x 8 feet wide (1.25 meters x 2.5 meters), so your poster(s) should fit within those space constraints.

Set Up Your Poster

The poster sessions will be held in Riverfront Hall, which is located on the Lobby Level.

Posters may be set up from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, 15 March, and for the
entire day on Tuesday, 16 March.

The posters will be displayed for the entire duration of the conference, but
we will focus on the following themes for each poster session:

Poster Session 1: Tuesday, 16 March from 5:30-7:30 pm
Focus on Theme 1 (Advances in Arctic System Understanding) and Theme 2 (Arctic Change) Posters

Poster Session 2: Wednesday, 17 March from 6:30-8:30 pm
Focus on Theme 3 (Linkages to the Earth System) and Theme 4 (Translating Research into Solutions) Posters

If you do not recall the session to which you submitted your poster, you can find your abstract at: http://soa.arcus.org/abstracts (listed in alphabetical order under "Poster Abstracts").

ARCUS staff will be on-hand to assist you in the poster room. We encourage you to set up your posters as early as possible and to keep them up for the duration of the conference, so that you can share your results with your colleagues in informal discussions as well as during the poster sessions.

Taking Down Your Poster

Posters must be removed by 12:00 noon on Friday, 19 March. Posters that have not been removed by this time will be discarded.
