Student Scholarship Awards

The organizers of the State of the Arctic Conference have developed an exciting program to engage and support students at the conference.

In addition to providing a travel scholarship program, we are also offering a mentoring program, a "Conversation with Scientists" special luncheon, a dedicated student meeting room, and a workshop presented by Susan Buhr, CIRES, on effectively communicating climate change science.

Student program activities are sponsored with generous contributions from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Arctic Ocean Sciences Board (AOSB) / International Arctic Science Committee (IASC), and Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL).

The 25 student travel scholarship winners have been announced! See below for the list of student award winners.
