Overview
You are responsible for making your own reservations to attend the State of the Arctic Conference at the Hyatt Regency Miami. Miami International Airport (MIA) is the closest airport to the venue. Several domestic and international airlines serve the airport. Please visit the MIA website for more information.
Getting to the Venue from Airport
The venue is about 7 miles from the airport, about a 15-minute drive. Taxi service is available for approximately $22.00 each way. Super Shuttle is available for approximately $18.00 each way. The Super Shuttle booth is on the ground level of MIA, they are open all the time, and reservations are suggested but not required. For Super Shuttle reservations and other information, please call 1-305-871-2000.

If you are renting a car and driving to the hotel, take 836 East to I-95 South. Disembark at the first traffic light (SE 2nd Avenue) and the Hyatt Regency Miami will be on your right hand side.
Local Transportation
Metromover: Adjoins the conference hotel by a tunnel. Accesses entire downtown area. No charge.
Metrorail: Metrorail can be reached via the Metromover that adjoins the hotel at the Bank of America Tower. There are 22 Metrorail stations throughout Miami-Dade County. The fare for the Metrorail is currently $1.50.
Car Rental: There is an Enterprise Rent-A-Car office onsite.
