Poster Presentation Information
The information below covers everything you need to know for presenting a poster at the State of the Arctic Conference.
Preparing your Poster
The poster boards will be 4 feet high x 8 feet wide (1.25 meters x 2.5 meters), so your poster(s) should fit within those space constraints.
Tips for Developing an Effective Poster

Printing your Poster
If you wish to print your poster in Miami, large format printing is available near the conference venue at the following locations:

Please contact the respective companies for more information about size, format, pricing, time needed to print, and transferring files. Presenters are responsible for transferring files, arranging printing and payment, and picking up their own posters.

Set Up Your Poster
The poster sessions will be held in Riverfront Hall, which is located on the Lobby Level.
Posters may be set up from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, 15 March, and for the
entire day on Tuesday, 16 March.
The posters will be displayed for the entire duration of the conference, but
we will focus on the following themes for each poster session:
Poster Session 1: Tuesday, 16 March from 5:30-7:30 pm
Focus on Theme 1 (Advances in Arctic System Understanding) and Theme 2 (Arctic Change) PostersPoster Session 2: Wednesday, 17 March from 6:30-8:30 pm
Focus on Theme 3 (Linkages to the Earth System) and Theme 4 (Translating Research into Solutions) Posters
If you do not recall the session to which you submitted your poster, you can find your abstract at: https://soa.arcus.org/abstracts (listed in alphabetical order under "Poster Abstracts").
ARCUS staff will be on-hand to assist you in the poster room. We encourage you to set up your posters as early as possible and to keep them up for the duration of the conference, so that you can share your results with your colleagues in informal discussions as well as during the poster sessions.
Taking Down Your Poster
Posters must be removed by 12:00 noon on Friday, 19 March. Posters that have not been removed by this time will be discarded.
